The Murfreesboro Police Department will hold a Rape Aggression Defense Training program to include Basic Physical Defense techniques this September.

The RAD Women class will take place on Thursday’s in September, beginning September 9th and ending on the 30th. The classes will be from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

MPD Public Information Officer Larry Flowers said, “It is open to girls/women ages 14 and up, and is free of charge. Participants should attend all four dates.”

The total training period consists of 12 hours and the classes are at the Murfreesboro Police Department headquarters, located at 1004 N. Highland Ave. in Murfreesboro.
