Former Kittrell and Oakland girls basketball coach and Rutherford County Recreation Director Ben Cates will be remembered at a memorial service this week.

It will be held at Oakland High School on Sunday, July 18th from 2-4pm. All former players and managers are invited to attend.

The area sports legend passed away May 15th of this year.
