Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford President and CEO Gordon B. Ferguson was our guest on The Action Line Tuesday morning. Some of the items that were discussed included: 

- The New Cardiac Surgery Program to start in aprox. 1.5-years. It will be in the current Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital. 
- A future medical facility to be built in the area of Shores Road and Veterans Pkwy in Murfreesboro, which will open in late 2022. 
- The Partnership with Rutherford County Government to provide medical care to county employees.
- An $82-million expansion that started in June of 2018 and opened in June of 2020.
- How did the hospital handle the COVID Pandemic?
