MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — The Middle Tennessee State University Board of Trustees will hold committee meetings on Tuesday, Aug. 24.
All committee meetings are open to the public. However, due to COVID-19 precautions and social distancing requirements in line with current public health guidelines for indoor gatherings, public access to the meeting will only be available via livestream.
Finance and Personnel Committee: 10 a.m. Agenda items include approval of minutes; permanent appointment of Assistant to the President for Institutional Equity and Compliance; capital outlay project submittal; stadium debt service fee revision; corporate partnership rate; compensation; and classified employee grievance annual report.
Executive and Governance Committee: 11 a.m. Agenda items include approval of minutes; approval of proposed policy revision; approval of bylaws revision; review and approval of 2021 self-evaluation instrument; authorization to conduct board self-evaluation prior to November 2021 Board of Trustees meeting and adoption of recurring schedule; and discussion of 2019 self-evaluation results and action for improvement.
Audit and Compliance Committee: 12 p.m. Agenda items include approval of minutes; approval of rule amendment, approval of policy revision and rule promulgation, annual report for Audit and Consulting Services; quarterly internal audit reports; Compliance and Enterprise Risk Management updates; and risk assessment reporting.
