John Dunn, Director of Communications for the Comptroller of the Treasury, told WGNS NEWS that Tennessee Comptroller Jason Mumpower will be speaking in Murfreesboro Tuesday, August 24th.

Mumpower will be presenting important information about the American Rescue Plan’s Fiscal Recovery Funds that are being provided to all Tennessee cities and counties.

The event will be held at 3 p.m. at the North Blvd. Church of Christ, 1112 N. Rutherford Blvd, Murfreesboro.

Rutherford County city and county officials have all been invited to attend. The event is being hosted by Senator Shane Reeves.
