(Normandy, TN) The Arrowhead Boys Ranch will be holding its annual BBQ and Auction fundraiser on Saturday, September 25th at 239 Cortner Mill Road in Normandy, TN. Delicious bbq platters will be served as well as free hotdog meals to children under 8 years old. The cost is just $12 per plate when you order in advance and $15 at the gate. The Silent Auction begins at 4pm and the Live Auction starts at 7pm.
Executive Director, Darren Delin, stated, “This event kicks off the fall season for the ranch and we look forward to visiting with our friends and supporters. We couldn’t make this happen without our faithful volunteers and very generous sponsors—for that we are grateful and appreciative of all the support we receive throughout the community.”
Attendees can enjoy a guided tour of the ranch, the scenic beauty, great fellowship, music and the always entertaining live auction. Additionally there will be activities for kids, such as face painting and bounce houses.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will go directly to expenses such as housing, counseling, food, health care, transportation and activities for the boys at Arrowhead Ranch. The Arrowhead Boys Ranch is a non-profit, long term residential care facility for boys ages 10-16 years old that are dealing with conflict and misguided direction in their lives. While at the ranch, the boys learn the importance of hard work and team building while in a Christian family environment. Arrowhead Ranch’s goal is to instill hope and a sense of purpose into the boys as they grow into young men.
