Grant Kelley has passed away. The longtime Rutherford County public servant from the Leanna community passed away Sunday morning after a long battle with Alzheimer's and Dementia.

He served in many capacities within Rutherford County government. Most notably, he was a long time county school board member. He is survived by his wife, Diane, who was a school teacher at Walter Hill Elementary for decades. Kelley is also survived by his son Brian Kelley, daughters Jennifer Carper and Lori Turnbow along with many grandchildren along with sister Carol Hackney.
