Mayor Ketron is against the idea of the landfill expanding. He told WGNS that a company called Pratt Recycling wants to step in and help...



The recycling company recycle's cardboard and plastic. Some of their recycled plastic is used in manufacturing carpet in places like Dalton, Georgia.

Despite the proposal from Pratt Recycling, no contracts have been signed and the county is still investigating ways to reduce waste.
