This is WGNS' 75th anniversary.  In fact, the Good Neighbor Station came on-the-air at 10:00PM December 31, 1946 to ring-in 1947. Thank you for listening to the Good Neighbor Station for this quarter of a century. Our 75th year of service brings expanded service.  WGNS has placed a new FM transmitter in Smyrna. So for those in the northern end of the county, please tune to FM 100.5.  Listeners in the Murfreesboro area need to tune to FM 101.9 or the original--AM 1450! The staff at WGNS proudly serves Rutherford County with local programming that is a mirror of our community. Anytime you have suggestions on programs that would enable us to better serve this area, please let us know. Now, join us throughout 2022 as we celebrate 75-years of being the Good Neighbor Station.
