HOPE, which stands for “Helping Our Patriots Everywhere,” is a program that helps disabled Veterans grow physically, mentally, socially and emotionally through the game of golf. PGA HOPE reports that learning and playing golf is a proven activity that has helped thousands of military Veterans assimilate back into their community through the social interaction the game provides.

The upcoming graduation on Wednesday, November 10th, will include a 6-hole golf tournament for participating Veterans followed by a presentation and award ceremony. All PGA HOPE participants are Veterans living with physical or cognitive challenges including PTSD, traumatic brain injuries and amputees, among others.

PGA Certified Golf Instructor Trey Adams says the graduation for the most recent participants will take place at Bloomfield Links on Walter Hale Court in Murfreesboro. It will be between 9AM and 12-noon this Wednesday.
