Rutherford County, TN—Rutherford County Health Department (RCHD) is advising the community of changes in dates/times in COVID-19 testing and vaccination offerings as well as holiday hours in observance of New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
“COVID-19 testing and vaccinations at our State Farm site will be closed Friday, December 31 and Monday, January 3 in accordance with the County’s observance of the New Year holiday,” explained RCHD Public Health Director LaShan Dixon. “With the assistance of our partners, CH Consulting Solutions, we will still be offering testing over the long weekend at our La Vergne location at the City’s multi-purpose parking lot at 5093 Murfreesboro Road.”
Regular COVID-19 dates/times for drive-through testing at the locations are:
State Farm Operations Building (RCHD)
Monday-Friday
8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Address: 2500 Memorial Boulevard
La Vergne Multi-purpose Building Parking Lot (CH Consulting Solutions)
Monday-Friday
8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday (Beginning January 1, 2022)
10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Address: 5093 Murfreesboro Road
Additionally, Everlywell self-test kits are available on site at State Farm and at the Murfreesboro and Smyrna Rutherford County Health Department location.

“Along with testing, we follow through with all public health investigations that go along with the positive cases and their contacts seven days a week,” said Dixon.

Vaccinations
Currently, RCHD is only offering the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for first, second, and booster doses. New hours of vaccine operations beginning Tuesday, January 4, 2022 will be Monday-Friday 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the former State Farm Operations center located at 2500 Memorial Boulevard.

As a reminder, testing and vaccinations at the former State Farm Operations Building will be CLOSED on Friday, December 31 and Monday, January 3.
Individuals are encouraged to check vaccines.gov to find a location that is offering their preferred COVID-19 vaccine. Appointments are encouraged but not required. Vaccines are also widely available at pharmacies, medical clinics, and other sites.
