You hear about motorists crashing into deer that dart across a roadway in the dark of night. That happened to a woman who was giving an UBER ride to a person through rural Cannon County. The Murfreesboro driver called for a tow truck, but hours later it still was not there. A passing motorcyclist in full police uniform stopped on his way home from work at the Cannon County Jail. He told the lady that he would return in a car to help. The man returned with his full family, and drove the woman to her home in Murfreesboro. The truck finally arrived and towed he deer damaged car, while Officer Austin Martin saved the day. He told the woman, “I teach my kids to be good citizens by setting an example.”
