Friday (02/04/2022) marked the 100th Episode of the Rutherford County District Attorney's Show on WGNS Radio, hosted on the first Friday of each month by retired Rutherford County Assistant District Attorney J. Paul Newman, featuring District Attorney Jennings Jones. 

On this show, Newman was joined by retired District Attorney William Whitesel who talked about the once cold - now solved murder case of Laura Salmon. The young woman who once called the Murfreesboro area home, was killed on May 31, 1984.  Joining the retired DA is retired Detective Major Bill Sharp and Sgt. Dan Goodwin.
