Murfreesboro Parks and Rec continue to build an indoor soccer facility in the northern portion of Rutherford County near the York VA Medical Center. The new structure is in the Richard Siegel Park and Soccer Complex on Cherry Lane...

That was Parks Director Nate Williams. The new indoor facility should be complete and open by June of this year.

Inside the building, there will synthetic turf installed along with bleachers and netting. The building will be used as a practice facility 7-days per week.

Richard Siegel Park is a 130-acre athletic complex which plays host to some of the most prestigious events in the country. Siegel Park has consistently hosted the Tennessee Soccer State Championships and the TSSAA State Soccer Championships.
