The incident occurred at a local business called Washtopia, which is located on Almaville Road.

Smyrna Police report they would like to speak to the individual captured on video at the Smyrna car wash in regards to a recent theft.

With his tailgate down, the man parked his white Chevrolet 4-door pickup truck next to the curb and then walked over to the car wash equipment box outside of the wash. A video that captured the man’s face, shows him trying to lift the oversized cover off the equipment.

The car wash was remodeled in late 2019 when a new owner purchased the business – completely renovating the facility and while installing brand new equipment, some of which is only 2 and a half years-old.
