WGNS asked Middle Tennessee Electric’s Vice President of Member Services Robert White IF there are enough charging stations in Rutherford County to use an EV as your daily driver. White stated…
White drives an all-electric Ford Mustang Mach-E. The mid-sized SUV hits zero to 60 MPH in an impressive 4.2-seconds and some of the models can travel up to 300-miles per charge.
High End EV and Hybrid Vehicles
High-end auto manufactures like Ferrari are even jumping into the EV world with their new SF-90 Stradale. The "90" represents the 90th anniversary of the prancing horse and the new Italian hybrid hits zero to 60 MPH in about 2-seconds flat.
To power the hybrid Ferrari, the car is filled with not only a V8, but also a row of battery packs and electric motors. Ferrari plans to introduce their first full electric vehicle by 2025.
By the way, the starting price of the Ferrari SF90 Spider, which is a plug-in-hybrid, rings in at $558,000.
In addition to electric cars and sites for children to take-in, craft vendors will also be on hand. There will also be free food, free tote-bags to the first 600-guests and more.
Again, Earth Day will be on the Murfreesboro Square Saturday, April 23rd between 10 and 2.
