(SMYRNA, TN) Two cars packed with people, crashed at 8:50PM Tuesday night (4/26/2022) at the intersection of Lowry Street and Jefferson Pike. One person was pronounced deceased at the scene.
First responders from Smyrna Police as well as Smyrna Fire-Rescue were on-the-scene and injuries were so serious that two persons were flown by LifeFlight to the Vanderbilt Trauma Center.
The remaining 8 were taken by Rutherford County Emergency Medical Services to area hospitals. Seven were hospitalized and one as treated and released.

Again, the fatal two-car crash occured shortly before 9:00 o'clock Tuesday night (4/27/2022) in Smyrna at the intersection of North Lowry Street (highway 41-70) and Jefferson Pike. By the way, that was approximately 2,200 feet north of Sam Ridley Parkway on Lowry St. (Nashville Highway aka Murfreeboro Pike).
