The Boro Art Crawl returns to the Historic Murfreesboro Square on June 16, 2022 (Thursday). Initially founded in 2015 by a group of local artists wanting to help foster the artistic community downtown and across Murfreesboro, it was suspended during the worst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Returning now, local artists are uniting with local businesses to showcase some of the best visual arts that Murfreesboro offers, according to Eric Snyder, the newly re-established Boro Art Crawl Committee president.

There will be new additions to the Art Crawl this June that include CrawlTalks, a Q&A event featuring clay artist Timothy Weber and painter Justyna Kostkowska, is scheduled for 6:30 p.m., Thursday, June 2, at the M&J Home on 124 N College Street. This free Wine and Cheese celebration is open to the public and features two outstanding artists demonstrating and discussing their artistic and philosophical processes. Also on June 2, at 7:30 p.m., the Abbey Murfreesboro, located at 215 N. Church Street, will feature the smooth jazz of trumpet player Fredrick Weathersby. This “CrawlTunes” event is also free to the public.
