UPDATE: - Identity Confirmed - A body was discovered near a marina on Percy Priest Lake Thursday morning (06/09/22). According to the Nashville Fire Department, the body was in the lake near Elm Hill Marina.

Nashville Police report, "Mauro Orduna, 38, of Franklin, was positively identified this afternoon as the victim discovered in Percy Priest Lake by boaters. Orduna was last seen by friends jumping from a cliff on the lake Memorial Day weekend."

Evidently, a boater on Thursday spotted the lifeless body of Orduna and notified authorities. Police reported the 38-year-old had been swimming over the Memorial Day weekend (May 27-30th) and reportedly consuming alcohol when he jumped approximately 40 to 50 feet off a large cliff. Witnesses reported he never returned to the surface.

Nashville's Emergency Operations responded to the call regarding a body being found in the lake on Thursday (06/0/22) and removed the man. A short time later he was positively identified as Orduna.
