NAACP Meet City Council Candidates

(MURFREESBORO)  Did you realize that EARLY VOTING for the next elections is July 15-30, 2022?  That's right, the August 4th election covers Murfreesboro City races, the Rutherford County General Election, County School and Road Board, along with State and Federal Primary Elections.

Murfreesboro NAACP President Katie Wilson explained that the organization is hosting a "Meet The Candidate" from 4:00 to 6:00PM Sunday afternoon, June 26, 2022, at Key United Methodist Church (806 E. State Street). The event is free and open to the public. It will enable the public an opportunity to learn more about Murfreesboro city council candidates.

The chapter's Civic Engagement Chair Violet Cox-Wingo announced that the two-hour discussion with Murfreesboro City Council candidates will be moderated by the Legal Redress Chair Aaron M. Treadwell and MTSU NAACP President Paige Jackson.  

Again, the Murfreesboro NAACP is presenting an opportunity to hear Murfreesboro City Council candidates on Sunday afternoon, June 26, at Key United Methodist Church.
