TCAT Murfreesboro Open House To Be Held July 19 (TODAY) 4PM to 8PM

RUTHERFORD COUNTY – Demand for workforce training is hotter than ever these days, but many Murfreesboro residents still don't know much about the work being done at the Tennessee College of Applied Technology Murfreesboro. The college is home to 18 workforce programs, from Welding and Mechatronics to Digital Graphics and Information Technology – and also health sciences like Practical Nursing and Central Sterile Processing Technology.

TCAT Murfreesboro will host an open house on Tuesday, July 19 from 4-8 p.m. at its main campus, across the street from Old Fort Park (1303 Old Fort Parkway) in Murfreesboro. Guests will be able to tour the campus, view demonstrations of various programs, and speak with instructors. Snacks will be provided, and popular local food trucks Slick Pig and Sea Turtle Ice Cream will be on site for food purchases.

TCAT reported, “Whether you are interested in attending the college or are just curious about that building you drive by on Old Fort Parkway, TCAT Murfreesboro welcomes all local residents to come find out more about the college's technical education programs.”
