MURFREESBORO, Tennessee -- Local nonprofit Journeys In Community Living will host a special one-hour fundraising luncheon beginning at noon on September 27, 2022, at The Grove at Williamson Family Farm in Murfreesboro (3250 Wilkinson Pike). This year's, Partners in the Journey Luncheon, will feature motivational speaker, world record-breaking pilot, and plane crash survivor, Mr. Ryan Campbell.
At next month's luncheon, Campbell will take the audience on a rollercoaster ride of emotion, sharing his journey, from the highs of a record-breaking world expedition to the lows of a back-breaking plane crash. At just 19, Campbell became the youngest person and first teenager to fly solo around the world - 24,000 nautical miles, 35 stops, and 15 countries.
Two years after his odyssey, Campbell was diagnosed as a paraplegic following the serious plane crash he was in.
Campbell went on to become the founder of TurbulenceTough, What's Your Pink Cadillac, and also the author of Born to Fly, the bestselling story of the teenager's experiences flying around the world. Local residents can hear his story 9n September 27th in Murfreesboro at The Grove at Williamson Family Farm off of Medical Center Pkwy.
