VOTE NOW--Earling Voting Ends Thursday!

(MURFREESBORO)  This coming Thursday (11/3/2022) is the last day to take advantage of EARLY VOTING, and that means this Saturday wraps-up your weekend opportunity to cast a ballot in the the Nov. 8 State and Federal General election.

Secretary of State Tre Hargett said, "If casting your ballot on the weekend is more convenient for you, I encourage you to make your voice heard at the polls this Saturday (10/29/2022)."

What ID Do You Need? 

To vote at any Rutherford County VOTING CENTER, all you need to bring with you is a state or federal provides photo identifcation. A Tennessee driver's license or photo ID issued by the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security, Tennessee state government or the federal government is acceptable even if expired.

A student ID or out-of-state driver's license are not acceptable.

Early Voting Locations

Here in Rutherford County EARLY VOTING locations and the places to VOTE on Election Day are the same. Several years ago, Rutherford County tested a pilot program to make it easier to vote.
It eliminated precincts, and allowed registered voters go to the locations nearest them on either EARLY VOTING dates or on Election Day (11/8/2022).

For residents in Smyrna, La Vergne and Eagleville (listed by population)--candidates for offices in each municipality is on the ballot. 
 
Election Administrator Alan Farley stressed, "If you live in Smyrna, La Vergne or Eagleville and wish to vote in that city's election, you can do so at any VOTING CENTER in Rutherford County. For example, if you live in Eagleville and work in La Vergne, you can vote in La Vergne while you're at work--or any VOTING CENTER in the county."
