The closings are due to icy road conditions in several areas and the ongoing wind chill, which shows the windchill could be as low as -20 degrees below 0 in some areas of Rutherford County and several surrounding counties in Tennessee.
Weather Related Closings for 12/23/22 – Friday:
- LIBRARY CLOSED: Due to inclement weather, all branches of the Rutherford County Library System will be closed on Friday, December 23. All branches will be closed on Saturday, December 24 and Sunday, December in observance of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

All Rutherford County Convenience Centers will be CLOSED Friday, December 23, due to inclement weather. They will also be closed on Christmas Eve (Saturday) and Christmas Day (Sunday). Local Convenience Center sites will re-open for regular hours on Tuesday, December 27th.
