Middle, Tenn. – A suspect has been developed in a case that focuses on the sexual battery of a child. Metro Nashville Police reported on Thursday that Youth Services detectives are searching for a man by the name of Jeremiah Timon Abel, who is wanted on two counts of aggravated sexual battery.
The 41-year-old man is thought to be in the Middle Tennessee area and authorities reported the alleged victim in the sexual battery case is under the age of 13. Metro detectives say that Abel allegedly touched a friend’s daughter inappropriately while in the victim’s bedroom. Police report the incident is believed to have occurred in mid-December of last year (2022).
Efforts to locate Abel thus far have been unsuccessful, which is why Metro Police need the help of residents throughout Middle Tennessee. If anyone has information on Abel’s whereabouts, they are asked to call Nashville Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.
