(Murfreesboro, TN) UPDATE W/ AUDIO - A hiring fair for nurses will be held in Murfreesboro on Thursday, January 12th at the York VA Medical Center. Nicole Crum, a nurse recruiter for the Tennessee Valley Healthcare System highlighted one of her favorite nurses… Crum said working at the VA is more than a job… The job fair on January 12th is open to registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and nursing assistants.
According to the VA, sign-on bonuses of up to $20,000 may be offered to highly qualified applicants who are interested in long-term care and medical-surgical specialties.
At the upcoming hiring fair, applicants will be interviewed on-the-spot, and may even receive a job offer. If a job offer is extended, the applicant will have their physical, credentialing and fingerprints completed on-site to expedite the hiring process. That process should not take more than one-hour to complete.
This upcoming event is a walk-in hiring fair, so pre-registration is not required.
