UPDATED: Murfreesboro, TN - Murfreesboro Detectives have been working on a theft of merchandise case. The shoplifting incident was reported on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2023.
According to authorities, the unidentified woman went to Plato's Closet on North Thompson Lane this past week and helped herself to merchandise. After hand selecting the items, she allegedly left the store without paying for it. On Thursday, Murfreesboro Police have confirmed that an arrest warrant has since been issued. Public Information Officer Larry Flowers said, “Thanks to your tips, the person of interest in the theft case at Plato's Closet has been identified. Detective Harris has taken out warrants for her arrest.”
Police released a video surveillance footage of the woman and photos that was captured by the in-store camera. See the pictures above this article and the video is below.
