Winner Winner, Three Course Dinner! Blackman High School Culinary Arts has brought home the first place award in the ProStart Culinary Arts state-level competition.
As part of the win, each student on the team has earned $22,000 in scholarships for a total of $88,000 for the team. They have also earned a spot in the national competition, which will be held in Washington, D.C., in May.
Blackman also won third place in the ProStart Hotel Restaurant Management state competition. The three students on that team each won $11,000 in scholarships.
