(MURFREESBORO) The gym at Middle Tennessee Christian School was packed with excitement Saturday (3/4/2023) afternoon as Murfreesboro Police took to the courts against Fire-Rescue. A great crowd was on-hand to cheer for both teams, while money was being raised for the American Cancer Society. 

Both sides were good sports in the competition for the 2023 Guns vs Hoses Basketball Championship title. As the ball swished its final basket and the clock ran out, Murfreesboro Fire Rescue Department was the victor. The final score was firefighters 55 and police 48.
