(SMYRNA, TN) As you heard on the WGNS' broadcast of Rutherford Issues, The Archery Experience is being offered to area youth starting April 13, 2023 at the Boys and Girls Club in Smyrna.
Executive Director Ed Epps explained, "The programs are designed for kids 8-17 of all skill levels from beginner to advanced, and will provide students with the necessary tools to develop their archery skills. The programs focus on proper techniques, equipment usage, and safety measures for competition or hunting."
The archery class is free for members, or available to other youth at $50 for a 6-week program. Equipment is provided and private lessons are available.
Epps noted, "We are thrilled to be the first to offer youth archery programs to our community."
He concluded, "Archery is a great way to stay physically active, and we believe our programs will provide a fun and safe environment for individuals to learn and enjoy the sport."
