Murfreesboro, TN – Another theft case has made the news, but this one will be headed to the Rutherford County Courts. According to Murfreesboro Police, the persons of interest in the theft of light fixtures from Lowe's on Old Fort Parkway have been identified.
Once police identified the subjects, it was realized that one was already in jail on an unrelated charge from another case. Detectives are obtaining warrants for the other woman at this time. In the case, two females entered the Murfreesboro Lowe's store and left with “... hundreds of dollars' worth of light fixtures,” according to the MPD.
Lowe's loss prevention workers reported to police they discovered the theft when they realized a large quantity of light fixtures were missing from the store's inventory. In reviewing video footage from the day of the suspected theft, enough evidence was gathered to link the two women in the picture (above this article) - to the theft case. When the women left the store, they were seen getting into a blue sedan, which the MPD called their getaway car.
Again, authorities say the two women have since been identified.
