(MURFREESBORO) Police are investigating an early Sunday morning (4/16/2023) break-in at Dollar General Store, 635 Medical Center Parkway. An officer patroling the area heard an alarm sounding at 4:09AM.

PIO Larry Flowers told WGNS that as the officer approached the store, he saw a man walking through the shattered glass on the front door. When spotted, the suspect ran. 

A K-9 was brought-in to track the man. A suspect was spotted riding a bike around West Northfield Boulevard. Dormaricoh Malone was taken into custody, interrogated and charged with burglary, vandalism, evading and resisting arrest. He also had an outstanding warrant on an unrelated charge.

This is the Dollar General that is located on the Medical Center Parkway, next to Murfreesboro's Boys and Girls Club.
