Murfreesboro, TN - A new neighborhood is planned for Murfreesboro that will be exclusively built for those who are 55-years-old or older. The new community will sit on over 520-acres along Franklin Road / Highway 96.
Susan Chapin with the Pulte Group told WGNS News the new development will have lot's of amenities geared towards an active and healthy lifestyle...The Lifestyle Director will plan events, activities and even group outings to places like Cheekwood in Nashville, Oaklands Mansion in Murfreesboro and more.
Construction on the new Southern Harmony Del Webb Community for those who are 55 or older has already started and the infrastructure is in place to begin building new homes. A groundbreaking ceremony for the first house will take place on May 22nd at 11 AM.
The 522-acre development is at 7079 Franklin Road in Murfreesboro, which is between the Veterans Parkway intersection and Kingwood Lane. A total of six model homes will be completed and open for tours by early 2024.
