(MURFREESBORO)  A lunchtime two-vehicle crash occurred on Saturday afternoon (5/6/2023) on Medical Center Parkway at West College Street. Emergency responders from Rutherford County Emergency Medical Services, Murfreesboro Fire-Rescue and Murfreesboro Police were quickly checking the minor injuries, gathering evidence and taking measurements. 

A gold older model Ford Ranger pickup and a silver 4-door Toyota Corolla were involved. 

With the heavy 12:30PM afternoon traffic, both directions of the 5-lane roadway had gridlock, bumper-to-bumper traffic almost instantly. 

The road was cleared and returned to normal in about an hour.
