MURFREESBORO, TN – This Friday, June 2nd - Main Street Murfreesboro is officially kicking off the summer by hosting the season's first Friday Night Live concert. Justin Kirk & Company will be performing from 6:30 to 9:30pm on the Murfreesboro square in Rutherford County. This is a free family friendly concert in the historical downtown Murfreesboro district. Concert goers can bring a chair and/or a blanket to the event on Friday night.
Thursday, June 8th is Sip, Shop & Stroll partnered with the Boro Art Crawl. You can find unique gifts, clothes, and delicious food and drinks for a late night of shopping downtown from 5 to 8pm. You can visit theboroartcrawl.com for information on featured artists and locations for the crawl. New this year is the “Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest.”
On Friday, July 7th, the band Entice will be performing at Friday Night Live from 6:30 to 9:30pm in front of the Rutherford County Courthouse.
On July 22nd from 6 to 9pm is Main Street Murfreesboro's annual fundraiser, The Taste of Rutherford. (TICKETED EVENT) Local restaurants and Craft Beer vendors will fill the grounds of Oaklands Mansion in Murfreesboro. “The O’Donnell’s band” will be performing throughout the evening. A crowd favorite is the Murfreesboro Saturday Market that runs every Saturday, rain or shine, 8am to 12 noon on the grounds of the Rutherford County Courthouse. See the summer concert schedule and more HERE.
