Everything from classic muscle cars to imports and low riders to pickups are expected to be entered into the car show. On the bike side, you'll likely see everything from street racers and bobbers, to Harley's and custom old school choppers.
Saturday, June 24th is the date for the upcoming event. Organizers tell WGNS that the car and bike show will be held outside the newly built SRM Concrete headquarters, directly off of I-840, which is about one exit before the Nashville Super Speedway.
Money raised at the show will go into the Darren Welker Servant Heart fund, a non-profit that was started to carry on Welker's passion for serving others. Welker's wife Christi stated... Welker was killed in a motorcycle accident in 2020 while visiting North Carolina. After his passing at the age of 52, his family started the Servant Heart Fund in his honor...
Registration for the car and bike show on June 24th will be between 8 and 10 AM with judging of the entries to begin at 11, and awards slated for 1 PM. The entry fee is only $20 and all money raised will go directly to the Darren Welker Servant Heart Fund. The first 50 to arrive will receive a commemorative dash plaque!
Door prizes, awards, a 50/50 Drawing and a fish fry will all be a part of the upcoming show. And in addition to different categories, there will be a Top 40 People's Choice and Darren's Choice Award for number one picked entries.
