MURFREESBORO, TN - A motorist evidently drove through the front window of a local business near Sam's Wholesale Club in Murfreesboro. The incident occurred on Tuesday morning shortly after the 10 o’clock hour.

Murfreesboro Fire & Rescue responded to the Community Vapor store behind O'Charley's at 2466 Old Fort Parkway to provide rescue and medical aid to the motorist and anyone who may have been injured inside the store. Once on the scene, it was confirmed that no one needed to be transported to the hospital.

The driver of the Nissan Altima told responding agencies that she tried to stop her car from moving forward and applied pressure to her brakes, but the driver suggested the brakes didn't stop the car. The four-door sedan continued moving forward, crashing into the glass windows.

At the crash site, other than the windows in need of replacement, there have not been reports of structural damage.
