The female reportedly walked up to a parked patrol car on Medical Center Parkway in the AM hours of July 5th and told the officer she was robbed of her belongings the previous day on Independence Day. The woman told police the day started with friends and a plan to visit Nashville. The reported victim told the officer before heading to Nashville, they stopped at "The Johnson Hotel." Shortly after they pulled intro the parking lot, a man with a goatee got out of an "old school car" and started heading towards them. He then pulled out a hoodie that appeared to be wrapped around a gun. The man supposedly said, "Run it up" and "Give me everything." The female even claimed she was pushed to the ground and after she got up, given 10-seconds to run. The police report documented, "After getting to a safe distance, Ms. Jasmine stated she just kept walking away from the incident and didn't know what to do."

The case was investigated by Murfreesboro Police and four more officers responded. No real leads were developed, not could police determine what actually occurred. In regards to the name of the hotel where the robbery occurred, there is no Johnson Hotel in Murfreesboro. It was later clarified that victim possibly meant the Howard Johnson Hotel on Armory Drive. But, staff did not report any incidents that would match the situation described by the woman.

WGNS asked MPD Public Information Officer Larry Flowers for the police report regarding the alleged Aggravated Robbery Case and received it on Monday. Flowers told WGNS the woman who claimed to be the victim, quickly turned into the suspect of a False Report. Flowers confirmed the 25-year old victim was charged with Filing a False Report, meaning the aggravated robbery she reported, did not occur.
