MURFREESBORO, TN - In Murfreesboro, a robbery that occurred on August 30, 2023 is being investigated by detectives. The hold-up happened at the Shell Gas Station at 1411 South Church Street is at the intersection of Middle Tennessee Boulevard. Scroll Down for VIDEO. 

According to the MPD, they are trying to identify a total of two armed men who robbed the gas station. Evidently, they were caught on video. They can be seen pulling into the gas station parking lot just this past Wednesday evening shortly after 7:30 PM. The duo was driving a black sedan.

The driver of the vehicle stayed in the car while two males wearing gloves and masks entered the store. Public Information Officer Larry Flowers told WGNS, “One robber is armed with a pistol. While inside, the robbers order the employees to the floor and have one of them open the cash register. One robber is seen taking all the cash out of the register.”

After robbing the store, they run out of the business and then get back into the car, take a right onto S. Church Street, and turn left onto Middle Tennessee Blvd prior to the officers' arrival.
