(MURFREESBORO) Greenhouse Ministries held its second annual LIVE IN THE 'BORO Tuesday evening at Hop Spring on the John Bragg Highway. Temps were in the 70s and the crowds enjoyed the wide array of talent.
Entries would submit an audition video to the judges and from that entries were selected. Then those selected entries competed for the top spots. 13-year old Zoey Parker not only was voted the INDIVIDUAL WINNER, but she also received the FAN FAVORITE AWARD. The Stones River Bluegrass Band received the GROUP WINNER award. The OVERALL WINNER went to instrumental guitarist Lance Allen.
Greenhouse Ministries Co-Founder Cliff Sharp told WGNS that this event helps to introduce Greenhouse to newcomers to the community . . .
A new logo was unveiled as Greenhouse Ministries approaches a milestone year. Suddenly the bubble machine came-on full-blast and instantly flooded the night sky with bubbles. Board Member Tracey Binkley made his way through the bubbles and held-up the 25th Anniversary logo.
Tune to WGNS at 7:50AM Wednesday morning (9/13/2023) and Greenhouse Ministries' Executive Director Christy Sanford will be on the radio to share more about LIVE IN THE 'BORO.
It was a perfect night of enjoying the darkened sky, filled with stars as well as watching the consistent traffic on the main flight path to BNA.
