(MURFREESBORO)  Shortly before 7:00 o'clock Wednesday (9/27/2023) evening, police were called to a multi-vehicle crash at Northfield and around Memorial Boulevards. That may sound like a strange way to describe where the accident ended, but officers are gathering evidence to reconstruct the crash.

A 4-door Ford auto received heavy front-end damage. It was in the west bound lane Northfield about a foot from the Memorial Boulevard traffic flow. 

There was a large GMC 4-wheel drive black colored crewcab pickup truck in what appeared to be the drive-through lane at Taco Bell at the corner of Northfield and Memorial Boulevards. The giant passenger side tire on the front of the pickup was at an angle on the curb that lines the restaurant's parking lot.

Since the truck was in the drive-through lane, the Taco Bell staff was asked if the GMC picked-up an order?

Several restaurant staff members were asked that question and all replied, "We were so busy watching what we were doing in the kitchen and serving customers that we did not notice the truck."

So the question is "why were the large pickup and the car in such radically different locations"? That's an answer that will not be released until after Murfreesboro Police complete its accident investigation.
