The Lego thieves are evidently at it again. This time around, they are in Williamson County, according to police. Scroll down for a video that was released by the Franklin Police Department.
The first time WGNS told you about the Lego bandits was when we highlighted a theft that unfolded in Smyrna, TN. In that case, Smyrna Police reported several men entered a retail store in the area of Sam Ridley Parkway and I-24 grabbing several Lego sets before making their way to the front of the store. So far, the men have not been apprehended in Rutherford County.
Building on the success of the first theft at a Target store in Smyrna, the Lego crew decided to hit another store. This time, the block crew headed to Williamson County.
Franklin Police report two men entered Target of Cool Springs and allegedly helped themselves to six Lego sets and a pair of sunglasses. This was not a small theft and the Lego sets must have been quite sizable because the thievery was a $1,500 loss.
After the theft in Franklin, the duo fled the area in a gray Nissan Cube. The Cube is a small SUV.
