Focus on Rutherford County, TN with Mayor Joe Carr

• 10% of single-family real estte in Rutherford County is owned by out-of-stte corporations. Myor Carr noted that this is a major issue, and they are not taxed at the "business rate", as are apartments. He said that this was not a decision by the County Commission but that of Property Assessor Mitchell. 
• Rutherford County Schools will need more than $750-million over the next 5-years, will Charter Schools ease that draw on tax dollars?

• You noted that TRAFFIC is a major issue and overcrowded communities, which bring crime, what are your plans of dealing with this? 
• Tell about the upcoming BID PROCESS for the waste control station. He notes that both the county and Murfreesboro will have their own. The City's is in the Butler Drive area and the County's is next to the county landfiull--next to Middle Point.
