(MURFREESBORO) The tradition continues with Middle Tennessee Christian School's 63rd Annual Steak Dinner in the varsity gym on Thursday (11/2/2023) night. 

The Alumnus of the Year was Dr. Sydney Zawislak Clayton from the class of 1998. She earned her Ph. D. in physical therapy and is a college professor. In addition, Sydney and her husband, Dave, planted and continue to serve the Ethos Church that both streams and has several gathering locations in Nashville. That ministry is celebrating its 15th anniversary. 

The prestgious Theresa Watson Memorial Award was presented to Mike and Heather Geren for their outstanding service and dedication to the school. 

The school was chartered in 1960, and opened in 1962. In fact, at the 2021 steak dinner, two years ago, a beautiful new $26.3-million high school building was announced. This year's supporters got to see the completed two-story facility.
