(MURFREESBORO) Perhaps it was the cold weather that hit us last week, but sunny skies with temps nearing 70 brought a SRO crowd from the opening to the closing.
There was a line of Habitat for Humanity supporters waiting to enter at 10:30AM, who either purchased tickets in advance or painted their bowl. Another similar line formed on the eastside's inner-circle to the Historic Courthouse. Those in-line were patient and courteous while waiting for the regular 11:00 o'clock entry.
In addition to the delicious soups, stews, chili, and gumbo, those who enjoyed the beautiful weather also had an opportunity to enjoy desserts, cookies, tea, root beer floats, and other goodies.
