See UPDATE HERE - Previous News Article: For those who saw a large police presence in the areas of Old Fort Parkway, Thompson Lane and Medical Center Parkway on Tuesday, authorities were trying to locate the culprits who robbed an ATM repairman at an automated teller machine.
Reports indicate Murfreesboro Police were dispatched to the Old Fort Parkway Truist Bank branch after receiving a call about a robbery around 11:30 in the morning. The first unit arrived at the site and ensured the victim was safe and confirmed that no one was injured. Additional units began searching for the subjects who held-up the bank repairman at the Truist Bank ATM machine. Police utilized a K9 to aid in search efforts, according to PIO Larry Flowers.
Detectives are following up on any leads that were generated in the call and at last report, the case remains under investigation and arrests have not been made. See updated article HERE.
