(drop off now through Dec. 19, 2023) Christmas is a time for love and helping others. The Murfreesboro Fire Department locations as well as administration offices are collection points the Murfreesboro City Schools Backpack Food Program. Drop the food off between now and Dec. 19, 2023.

Murfreesboro City School's spokesperson Lisa Trail commented, "It's important to note that these are individual size portions that can be easily opened by children."

Juice box - 6.75 oz
Single serving pop top cans like spaghettios, ravioli, soup
Single serve mac and cheese
Single serve cereal or cereal item
Single serve fruit cups
Shelf stable milk
Snacks like peanut butter crackers, granola bars, and fruit bars

You can drop off at any Murfreesboro Fire-Rescue station, fire administration, and fire marshal's office.
