(MURFREESBORO)  The Christmas season came to the Heart of Tennessee musically Friday evening (12/1/2023) with the Tennessee Philharmonic Orchestra's "A Christmas Spectacular" at Belle Aire Baptist Church, 1307 N. Rutherford Blvd. 

TPO's CEO Jane McNulty welcomed the audience and reminded them at the next event will be the Valentine Concert at 7:00PM on Feb. 13, 2024 at The View At Fountains, 1500 Medical Center Parkway. 

Northside Church's Worship Pastor Terry Jolley was the evening's conductor. He told how he grew-up surrounded by all genres of music and that variety of Christmas music set the mood to the holiday treat that ended with the audience joining in a "sing along". Locally, he is remembered for his work with the high school bands at Stewrts Creek, Siegel and Blackman.

The Tennessee Philharmonic's "Orchestra Educational Outreach" included five young musicians who performed throughout the evening as a part of the entire group.
