LA VERGNE, TN - In the early hours of Tuesday Jan. 23rd, a serious crash unfolded in La Vergne, leaving a car wedged inside a culvert. The driver, a woman, veered off the road at Firestone Parkway and JP Hennessy Drive around 2:30 a.m.

The La Vergne Fire Department swiftly responded, rescuing her from the vehicle. Though the extent of her injuries remains unknown, she was alert and communicative before being transported to the hospital.

Metro Nashville Police officers were on-site for several hours, managing traffic diversions around the Davidson County/Rutherford County border where the incident occurred. During the investigation, the car remained lodged in the culvert at the intersection of JP Hennessy Drive and Firestone Parkway.
