Murfreesboro, Tn - Middle Tennessee Christian School (MTCS) was recently recognized with great honor on the House floor for their remarkable achievement in securing their school's first-ever state championship last fall.
This prestigious recognition came in the form of a unanimous resolution passed by both the House and Senate earlier this year. Representative Bryan Terry, proudly representing District 48 in Rutherford County, seized the opportunity to pay tribute to the team during a session this week.
Hailing from Murfreesboro, the MTCS football team's triumphant journey culminated in clinching the Division II-A state football championship, a monumental milestone in the school's history. With a resounding 28-13 victory over Friendship Christian School, they etched their names in the annals of Middle Tennessee sports history.
